After the last two days' events in other communities, I am determined to not have the senseless deaths that are occurring at the hands of our protectors.
I am suggesting that we amend the metrics on the sac2050 site a bit to include:
Community Attitudes towards policing (does this exist already?)
Somehow tie up (meta/KPI) the poverty/unemployment metrics to a goal that shows how it can reduce crime
Open Data in Policing: e.g. how/what kind of force applied to certain scenarios
How does Sac goals compare to POST standards/goals
LEO tooling (upgrades and training)
LEO hiring and review standards (quality of LEOs hired)
