I think this is just how SVN repositories are usually structured. It should be more clear in the Git repository that I've used on github, but if I merge back to the sourceforge repo we'll probably still be on SVN. trunk should always contain the latest code. I'm not sure that there's anything we can do beyond that.

The SVN tree is containing multiple places where we find the code. To know where is located the up-to-date code, one must look at the last commit and the path they touched.
E.g., http://vfsjfilechooser.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/vfsjfilechooser/
It probably would make things simpler to avoid multiple misleading places?
