request(variation): provide Thread Safe binaries #82

Hi There. Is it possible to explore adding thread safe PHP? (aka TS or ZTS)

This should probably be closed due to the age of this issue and lack of follow up from the original author.

FWIW ZTS is a standard part of the PHP project and has been for some time. For this php-alpine, I'd find it a valuable addition to avoiding rebuilding PHP. I'd imagine this might add a new suffix in the build matrix, *-zts, Eg php-7.4-zts, etc...

Hi everyone, is there value in adding zts, can anyone help me seeing that? if there is any value in doing this, we can try adding those builds, no problem.
