Difference between Ireland and United Kingdom #438

The map is currently considering Ireland as UK. Teach the map to separate them.

This may well be a false alert and more a question of Irish-British relations and politics than a bug ! ;oD

The Northern Irish events I've seen are part of the UK listing because Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom.

The Republic of Ireland events I've seen are correctly listed as Ireland.

I may not have seen all the events so there may be exceptions !

Who signalled the issue ? If it's Mags, Michael or Yasemin it may be real. Hope I'm not confusing things more! Just trying to help ;o)

I also checked the events, and they seem fine to me. Irish events are on the Ireland list and UK events on the UK one. There are some events very close to the border (Londonderry, Strabane) on the UK side, but they still are UK (at least according to google :S)
