[BUG] UN-Habitat activity file is missing `<iati-activity>` closing tags #8

Explanation of the bug

  • What did you expect the data to look like?

Lots of sibling iati-activity elements

  • What did it look like instead?

Lots of nested iati-activity elements. It looks as though when a result element is present, the iati-activity element is not closed. So the nesting just gets deeper and deeper.

  • How did the problem manifest?

For one thing, this caused the IATI dashboard to break. But it may very well cause problems for other tools, too.

Have you contacted the publisher, and/or IATI Support?

Not to my knowledge.

UPDATE: I’ve been in touch with the listed contact for UN Habitat about this issue.

It looks like the dataset in question has been 404ing since 26 December 2020: https://iatiregistry.org/dataset/unhabitat-activity

Looks like this was fixed on the 18th Feb 🙌
