Cool stuff:
- Tests on IATI-Stats run on github actions on push, and are currently passing
- Coveralls is working
- Everything builds nightly on github actions, and is auto-pushed to github pages. It’s all pretty transparent so it’s clear when something has gone wrong
- Everything has been upgraded to python3 (NB most of this work was already done but never deployed)
- Base template is slightly cleaner – there’s not five levels of navigation, or multiple banners
- Most dependencies have been upgraded
- SSL certificate
- Codelist tests are faster now
- Dashboard development server works
- Weird template bug is fixed
- Download errors page is up to date
Bad stuff:
- No graphs. These rely on historic data, which isn’t sorted yet
- No publishing stats. The next phase will be to bring it back ~(which will involve upgrading more code to python3)~ UPDATE: python3 version is on the
devbranch :tada: - Coverage is only 22% on IATI-Stats
- No tests on IATI-Dashboard
Rationale
The IATI Dashboard has potential to track lots of useful stats for IATI data.
Proposal
It might be possible to run this on github actions and github pages. I’ve made a start on this here: https://github.com/codeforIATI/IATI-Stats
