There’s a bit of inconsistency between our repos, for things like the contributing guidelines, repo config, license etc. It would be nice to make this stuff consistent where applicable.
Proposal
Create a cookie cutter repo that contains our default LICENSE.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, some basic README.md stuff, some repo config (via probot/settings). This can serve as a canonical reference for these things, and will also make it easier to bootstrap something new.
