Right now, this is not supported by the IATI standard, as there is no humanitarian-scope vocabulary space for it. However, this can be progressed, and a useful first step could be to scrape a list that could be situated alongside others at https://codelists.codeforiati.org/
Additionally I know that the @mcarans is in the process of pulling this into a list for https://data.humdata.org/ , so we could pull from that
Regardless, it'd be important to present some list , in order to then advocate for the additional vocabulary - and having this in the same suit as other humanitarian lists would be very useful
Rationale
Alongside Humanitarian Response Plans (HRP) and GLIDE Emergency codes, another humanitarian list of appeals exists via the IFRC: https://www.ifrc.org/appeals?date_from=&date_to=&appeal_code=&text=&page=1
Right now, this is not supported by the IATI standard, as there is no humanitarian-scope vocabulary space for it. However, this can be progressed, and a useful first step could be to scrape a list that could be situated alongside others at https://codelists.codeforiati.org/
Proposal
To scrape / pull the IFRC Appeals list and provide it as a codelist at https://codelists.codeforiati.org/
The exact methodology on doing this may include scraping https://www.ifrc.org/appeals?date_from=&date_to=&appeal_code=&text=&page=1, but might also involve the API: https://goadmin.ifrc.org/docs/
