Steps for how a new survey is created.

In order to understand how best to automate the process, I need to understand how a new survey is currently added.

Suppose you had business XYZ looking to provide the survey for their employees. Create a series of steps including explicit instructions for formkeep and google spreadsheet on how this happens.

This is part of #109.

@jenningshanna Please generate the explicit instructions for how to set up a new instance. This is a priority action so Becky can automate the process and we can test it in advance of the meeting with the Mayor.

Steps for Setting up a new instance of ABQ FWC

Pull the Site from GitHub

• git pull gh-pages branch from our repo
• copy one of the pilot folders (MRCOG, Heading Home, CABQ HR)
• name the folder with your orgs name
• in that folder you’ll find a index.html and a thanks.html

Setting up FormKeep

• login to Formkeep (Efrem will email user and pass)
• create a new bucket for the data
• pay for the bucket ($7 a month) (will only except 4 request to demo)
• add the URL to your thank you page
• update the action url in the index.html file on line 20 <form accept-charset="UTF-8" action=“[FORMKEEP_URL]“ method="POST”>
• git push your update live to GitHub

Setting up Zapier Hooks

• Navigate online to your form that you just pushed on GitHub
• Complete each field and submit the form, it should take you to your thank you page, which means it worked (you can also double check by going back to FormKeep and you’ll see your submission there in almost real time)
• login to Zapier (Efrem will email)
• create a new action that connects FormKeep to Google Sheets
• if Formkeep gets a submission create a row in google sheets
• select FormKeep bucket
• select Google Sheet (can select tab)
• match each field to columns in the google sheet (this task is done one by one)
• submit and create the Zapier action

Test Web Hook

• complete the form online again
• a few minutes later log in to google sheets and see your data there
