For demo purposes, let's put some intro text in the first screen and then make a way for people who find the URL to give us feedback #33

For instance, if we have other screens/views of questions that we want then let's put them in a place where people who get to dev.bestnestapp.com can give us feedback

Let's use a TypeForm link to solicit feedback about some of the new features @GiselleS has been thinking about with regards to collecting structured data from users

jeremiak commented 10 years ago

So right now the built page looks something like: best nest text

Two things:

  1. What do y'all think of the text content?
  2. Do we want to have another pink banner on this page to a different TypeForm survey to make sure we can easily collect feedback from all over the app? If we link to the current TypeForm it's sort of confusing because it assumes a property level context.

Pasting @GiselleS's comments from slack:

1) I think we could go lighter on the text - if we want unbiased usability feedback it'd be better to tell people less - much more like a consumer app 'tagline' but I'm also ok with being more explicative in this round. Your call.

  1. We could split up the typeforms into two -- like a 'send us feedback' button on that splash page -- and then the rate properties one that just seems seemlessly like part of the app and doesn't ask for any feedback. The way I wrote the questions they're kind of bundled though, so you'd have to disentagle them.

Cool, I think we should do both of those things. So I can remove some of the text, I just wanted to make sure users/people who say it understood what we are trying to do.

I'll also go ahead and split up the type form (mostly just using the second half of your questions for the survey that shows up on the front page before you go into a property view)

On second/third thought, I'm going to leave the explicit text in there for this round but we can always change it
