@jden requested I should comment.

Per #71 it appears you intend to have sign-in so I'd be sure to put privacy policy link on that screen, as a peer to the sign-in & skip-sign-in options. If anyone's going to decide whether to use the app or not based on the policy, at sign-in is the time they'd decide.

But looking at http://dev.bestnestapp.com as it is now you might just link to privacy policy in a dressed up version of the 0-term result (currently the text "Search by address for information about rentals" and the logo.) It's also wise to plug the policy as part of forms that add to what the app knows about the user (@jden mentioned to me there'd be user-reviews and surveys.)

It's reasonable to include privacy policy in a "hamburger menu", but it's unclear if your app needs one. Mentioning privacy inline at the points in the app where people would wonder about privacy, as I'm describing here, is a reasonable alternative.

Also on @jden’s request:

I wondered whether the privacy policy concerns itself only with the creation of content such as reviews & survey answers (which is doubtful, as there might be something in the policy about the privacy of those who only search for and browse listings without contributing anything, but still a valid question). If it does, then I’d only worry about making sure content creators are exposed to it (sign-up/sign-in forms), content creation forms, etc. If, however, the privacy policy is also relevant to people only browsing listings (for example: regarding the collection of data about what search terms are used and which listings are browsed by a specific machine or IP address), then the privacy policy should be made accessible from anywhere data can be collected (namely, the search form in addition to forms dedicated to content creation). Perhaps there is just a link or button under the BestNest logo.

I read someone on Twitter suggest the settings view. I’d have to agree with that (granted there is a settings view) under an About section.
