We need to some user research around our attendance tools.

Colleen did some planning with Tomas and I. Here are our notes from that session.

I already did a good amount of research before, yet here are some outstanding questions:

• What use do you have for attendance data?
• How are you tracking it now?
• What obstacles are there for you to consistently track attendance?

Here are our hypothesis for why attendance is a super important data to track:

1. Fundraising
2. Identify new people, regulars, people who used to come
3. Pull stories, needs, and lessons from members
4. ??? What else would make you excited about this data?

How would you prioritize these?

How do you track attendance now? We've seen four ways:

• Short url
• One laptop up front
• Headcount by leadership
• Get a list from Security Guard or Eventbrite

We want consistency? What challenges are there to collecting attendance?

What are some other uses for this data? How can we package it for you?

• [ ] Set up sessions with a advanced Brigade, a newer Brigade, and a just starting out group.
