Residents and City staff not directly involved in the analysis of feedback need a more accessible way of getting a sense of the feedback. With our San Francisco pilot, I experimented with editing down the ~60 minutes of feedback to a 90 second track summarizing the spectrum of opinion
Even apart from the actual editing doing that is a pain in the ass. Right now I grab audio files by right-clicking each piece and then renaming each unfriendly file names one by one.
Potential solution?
Have URL/audio.zip download a zipped up package of all voice feedback where each file is titled with the [unique caller id]_[location].
