"Correlation doesn't equal causation, and unless you have a good story to tell along with your data visualization, don't lead people astray."

Note being able to tell a story shouldn't be the standard: https://www.ted.com/talks/tyler_cowen_be_suspicious_of_stories

Necessary but not sufficient here.
