Back-end developers- Build/advise the server side for interactive content on nccovidsupport.org #4

Hi there! NC COVID Support is a project of Code for Chapel Hill.

We are looking for developers to help us build the server side of nccovidsupport.org, providing data for interactive content. Front-end is VueJS, we are looking to use Umbraco for the back-end development.

Currently the site pulls from data stored on a Google sheet.

Find project details on GitHub at: https://github.com/code-for-chapel-hill/NC-COVID-Support

Interested? Reply here on GitHub or email contact@nccovidsupport.org.

Thank you!

Where's your repo for the Umbraco back-end?

I've been working toward using Gmail account auth to update existing Google Sheet rows with Code for Atlanta.

I wonder if we could use the same Google REST/CRUD auth and update process with both Google Sheets and Umbraco? We could create a Real World project template:

I created a .NET calendar system for Georgia and North Carolina Environmental Education and 8 other states. I'd like to be involved with a common Umbraco structure used for both teacher resources and Covid response.

We're using leaflet for the EPA's Sustainable Community USEEIO modeling app. I'd like to include your VueJS map frontend in our fall 2020 Web Challenge.

Hi @modelearth. We would love to connect with you.

We are just beginning work on the back end using Umbraco. Sounds like an interesting opportunity to build a team together for the GA 2020 Web Challenge.

Please send us a message at contact@nccovidsupport.org. We can set up a time to chat and have an introductory meeting. Thanks!
