Authors of Qs and As are interrupted, especially when editing over mobile or Wi-Fi networks. Set up a frequent autosave and indicate status to help users feel safe.

Can you say more about this? It’s my limited/personal experience that auto-save actually works less-well over choppy networks, because the auto-save itself gets interrupted in contrast to the classic approach of letting the browser window itself hold onto the text during editing, regardless of network status.

There are a few ways to approach this idea, could you provide some examples of auto-save implemented particularly well or poorly?
