MOCKUP: full screening results #25

Where do they go? Do they exist on the patient details page or somewhere else?

bengolder commented 9 years ago

There should be a primary action "check eligibility" button on Patient Details that navigates to screening results

mapsam commented 9 years ago

What about showing a general yes/no on the sidebar as well?

esmithayer commented 9 years ago

Would a tab work for the screening results?

I would lean towards not putting it in the sidebar because the yes/no isn't super meaningful on its own, and making it update dynamically as household members and income sources are added seems more confusing than helpful.

mapsam commented 9 years ago

That seems good to me. Let's go for adding it as a new tab, and nix the sidebar brief results idea.

MOCKUPS coming

I agree that the results shouldn’t be in the sidebar. I don’t think the link should be a tab t. I think it should be one of the most prominent actions on the page and should therefore be a big obvious button.

esmithayer commented 9 years ago

Eh, I think referring a patient is equally important, and that's a tab right now.

If the user fills out the patient details, then clicks a button to see screening results, and that takes them to a new page that doesn't have the patient details sidebar etc, where do they go next?

Actually, maybe we could just combine the share patient view and the screening results.

mapsam commented 9 years ago

I think those are both on equal priority. We also haven't really jumped into the styling of the tabs yet so we could work on making them more action-oriented like buttons instead of tabs of different information.

bengolder commented 9 years ago

I did a bunch of sketches to try to explain more clearly why we should basically abandon the tabs.

But I'll paste the images here as well, for easier discussion.

The way-too-subtle tabs (note that delete patient is more prominent): image

A workflow that is needed: image

A patient overview (basically Patient Details, but with no questions and with all the main actions turned into big buttons). image

Starting a referral (from one of the big buttons on Patient Overview). First step is to pick the services: image

Based on the services selected, the navigator is presented with a set of questions: image

Finally, the questions lead to results: image

And from eligibility results you can click to a particular service, send them info and get other useful information. image
