@axiomizer, if you could take a look at this, I'd love to discuss. [Sorry if I'm asking the wrong person. I think you're the one that initially used lfs, but let me know if I'm wrong.]

@axiomizer I don't expect there's any issues with removing git large file support from the repo so we'd like to merge this, just let us know if there's anything we're missing.

Closing for now as #178 requires rerolling the entire repo and we have a lot of outstanding work in branches for beta 2, beta 3 and forward.
