Get prototype launched in a staging area #11

I am working with Brian at Big Heavy World to get a venues.bigheavyworld.com staging area setup where we can host a working copy of the app.

Big heavy world web servers are currently down completely.

I may explore getting staging area hosting from my company Vermont Design Works although I am not sure about whether we will be able to install ElasticSearch there.

This issue is especially important now that we are working on a version of the prototype that requires a web server.

Jim said they're working on getting the servers back up. I guess they were having some overheating issues. You want to check out Vagrant and Puppet. This will let you easily run a virtual server locally for development purposes. This is what I use now for all of my projects.

Ultimately we'd like to get a vagrant config set up (im working on this for dev) but we also have a staging area now at
