Decision made to convert project page types from 'pages' to 'posts'.

Completed:

New (private) posts made for the following:

Post settings (WordPress):

  1. Use layout without sidebar (theme)
  2. Hide post meta (theme)
  3. Hide comments (theme)
  4. Create final URL slug identical to original project page.
  5. Label with 'projects' category
  6. For projects listed below for Phase 2: Visibility -> Private

Layout settings (Elementor) - to maintain current uniformity (NOT definition of global / permanent settings):

  • Background sticker:
    • Position: Center center
    • Attachment: Scroll
    • Size: Contain
  • Layout > Structure: 66, 33
  • Headings typography: default format

Put finalization of the following project pages in Phase 2:

@ksnielsen The github repo link on the #courtbot project page is incorrect and takes you to the #expunge-vt project dashboard. Otherwise looks great!

At least 3 of the project logos (large size) are truncated on the top and bottom -- this seems to be an issue with the image binary files and not layout or CSS. See https://cms.codeforbtv.org/category/projects/ to see all 3. e.g.: image]

Thanks again for bringing this up - fixed.

If interested: it was an issue of aspect ratio only when the theme was using the files as featured images (wanted it 1:1). The Projects page was in an intermediate format earlier. and we weren't intending to have the images displayed as such on the page. For now, we don't have these featured images used directly by the theme, so it may not be a real issue, but they're often useful.

However, the SEO plugin was showing the (mobile only) Google search preview had that truncated effect happening again. So I altered the files' aspect ratios and re-uploaded, and it's all good now:
