Somebody did do this - but I can’t find a paper trail. Another poke (and post the results back to this ticket) would definitely help!

Hi John,
Hope all is well. I wanted to check back in on 2013 /2014 data. Is 2013 available?
Thanks!

Thanks John. That's great to hear.
We have a project team that's working more with the bike data; will let you know when we've gotten something useful made!
Stay warm!

Adam – We have just initiated a new contract w/ HSRC. The tentative schedule is for 2013 data to be available this summer and 2014 data to be available next winter. By the way, this data is now viewable and downloadable – see here: http://ncdot.maps.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=b4fcdc266d054a1ca075b60715f88aef

Thanks John. What's the refresh cycle on this data. e.g. when would 2013 data become available? Does it happen at a regular annual interval?
Thanks!
Adam

I emailed about the new dataset today...
Hi John,
I had heard from Adam Martin and BPAC (Durham bicycle advisory committee) that new pedestrian and bicycle crashe data would be available this month. Do you know when it will become available?
I have been working on the Bicycle Safety app (http://codefordurham.com/projects/bike_safety_application) with the Durham code for America Group, which uses this data set to explore accidents in Durham. We’d love to update this dataset when it becomes available.
Thanks so much,
Dane
Looks like dates are pushed back to late Spring:
Dane,
Unfortunately, it took more time than anticipated to finalize the contract w/ HSRC; therefore, we are behind our preferred schedule for releasing crash data. As of now, we are hoping to have the 2013 crash data available by spring 2016 with 2014 data available by the end of 2016. Thanks.

I checked in again...
Hi John,
Any update on when the latest NCDOT datasets would be out?
Thanks so much,
Dane
