• Restaurant phone numbers
• Restaurant websites
• Public parking locations

Later:

• Gas station locations
• Public wifi locations
• Public restroom locations
• Bus stations
• Towing companies/mechanics

Tom McDonough, from the City of Huntsville, sent me the following email about datasets:

Restaurants: http://maps.huntsvilleal.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Layers/Restaurants/MapServer/0 We don’t have phone, hours, or delivery info. The restaurants are still in a state of flux.

Public Parking Locations: http://maps.huntsvilleal.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Layers/PublicParkingLocations/MapServer/0

Shuttle Bus Stops: http://maps.huntsvilleal.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Layers/HuntsvilleShuttleBus/MapServer/1

Public Wi-Fi Hotspots http://maps.huntsvilleal.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Layers/PublicWiFiHotspots/MapServer/0 These are not the public-access hotspots which is what you are probably wanting. These are the ones installed by the City of Huntsville. The points are not the location of the actual access point but Tim hopes to gather that info.

To use these services as Web Mercator, add outSR=3857 to the URL. I am trying to get access to the business licenses to see if anything else can be gleaned from the data including towing companies and gas stations.
