Bug: Source code not saving into source file. #104

Use tags for the following:

IBM I version 7.4
System: MACOS

I have set up the ASP as per the documentation. When I key in source and save it, it is not saving.

Can this be fixed as soon as possible, please? I need to write a program today. This tool would have been a great tool to show my boss how quickly can we use such a tool.

Also - do you get a member list?

I do get member list, I am able to create a new member, however, whatever I do in the member it doesn't save. Please help, i am supposed to showcase this tool to my boss today afternoon.

Liam - Observation 1) Command + S is saving the second time (what I mean by second time is if I create a new member and key in the source then nothing is saving, however, if I go a second time and key in source and save using command +S, it is working)

2_ Close and then SAVE it not working.

This is something that I will be looking into over the next few days, but likely to have a fix out over the weekend.

Hi @AjaykulkarniIBMi

Looks like when we were creating the new file from the member browser, it wasn't passing the ASP along with it.

Will ship this soon.

Apparently the issue was not fixed.

@AjaykulkarniIBMi please provide the specific steps to recreate this. Thanks!

1) I click on the source file 2) Right-click to create a new member 3) I key in some lines of code and SAVE it 4) the File is not saved, it has only one * in it.

Have been looking into this... how do you have the source file set up in the source file shortcuts?
