To add at some point: property's chain of title + legal description #15

From Peter Hoffman w Legal Aid: Having a map that ties in to the recorder of deeds would be really valuable. So for instance, you click on a property and that has a link to the recorder of deeds chain of title for that legal description. That would show you every transaction relating to that property dating back to 1960 or so (where the county has digitized its records).

Having legal descriptions tied with the Parcel ID would be ideal for looking at tax delinquency. The problem with legal descriptions is that the County uses abbreviated legal descriptions for everything. You'd have to pull full legal's from deeds recorded with the recorder of deeds, which is probably not a possibility. BUT, it wouldn't even necessarily have to be the full legal description since the county uses an abbreviated description. Just having something linking the chain of title to a website/map that has all of the other information would be huge. It'd be easy enough with access to those documents to pull out a full legal from a document. Using parcel ID's will work for purposes of mapping abandonment though.
