A friend of mine just showed me http://thenextis.com by @homtec

It does pretty much exactly what we want, with a slightly different interface. Works on desktop and mobile already. And it’s open source too: https://github.com/homtec/thenextis Would probably be best to join forces on that one! :)

What do you think @bastiRe @mazemilian @saerdnaer?

Thenextis looks nice and works well. However, in my opinion the main work on our project lies in the interface/ux. Our ideas for that were quite different to thenextis (list view, result adress etc.). So, our choices would be to write kind of a new "skin" for thenextis or to write a complete app ourselves as planned. As I think the "non-interface" code is not that sophisticated I think we should stay separate.
