Updated the path variable to remove the hard-coding

Describe the general shape of this PR (new feature? refactor? bug fix? one-line change?) one-line change to use relative paths.
Describe what changes are being made The variable 'path' is being modified and then its value is being reused in the open method call at line 57.
Describe why these changes are being made The absolute path will need to be replaced with something that works on any computer without issues. Using a relative path helps.
Describe how errors will be handled. How will we know if this code breaks in production Please test this out as I am still figuring out how to run it and it is my first contribution :)
