Miserlouuuuu> Hi all
10:24 AM <Miserlouuuuu> I'm working with a group of computational biologists studying childhood cancer, does anybody have any good materials that I can share with the team about why Dat could be beneficial for our group and our users?
10:25 AM <Miserlouuuuu> There are a lot of things on the website that say "for scientists!" etc, but nothing that really puts it in concrete terms about what Dat is or why it's beneficial in a scientific context
10:25 AM <Miserlouuuuu> vs just dumping to FTP server or whatever..
10:26 AM <Miserlouuuuu> I'm just looking for a solid 1 sheeter pitch page or a blog post that I can share to start a discussion

...

10:33 AM <Miserlouuuuu> Yeah I mean I guess the issue for the team is less "why dat vs dropbox" but more about the potential of the community as it relates to the quality of the science, and why science data should be shared at all
10:34 AM <Miserlouuuuu> it just seems kind of incongrous on the website right now, there is so much stuff about science but all of the docs really just talk about the protocol so I think it's a bit confusing to share directly
10:34 AM <Miserlouuuuu> Does that make sense? Or am I confused about how Dat fits in the puzzle
