What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. pip install jsontemplate

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected is to get the most recent version of jsontemplate, instead get version 
0.5b2

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

current version of pip

Please provide any additional information below.

a setup.py file in the zip would also allow inserting
