Images do not blend well with darker backgrounds. #184

This is more a skin defect than a bug. On the active users list, the
buttons don't blend with the background. The backgrounds of the images are
not transparent as they should be.

View the attached image for inspection. View one of the 'note' buttons on
the darker gray background. Look closely.

Also, all images (new topics, etc) seem to have this problem. They should all 
be on a
transparent background.
