Brute Force Stop Administration not working #93

This error comes up:

Fatal error: Class 'JControllerLegacy' not found in /home4/xxxxxx/public_html/administrator/components/com_bfstop/bfstop.php on line 21

Please help

Haven't seen this error yet; which version of Joomla are you using? bfstop should work with Joomla version >= 2.5.7 (just added this also to the download site to make it more clear). If you use a still older version, you definitely need to upgrade - not only because of bfstop, but because there's lots of security holes in such old releases.

@ottomanb Did you look further into this? Could you check your Joomla version? If I don't hear from you anymore I'll have to close this as non-reproducible.

You're welcome. Was it the Joomla version, or what solved it? It would be great to hear so that others having the same trouble in the future know what to look for!

I'm pretty sure the website was corrupted.
