Preferred citation for newspaper library #477

Thanks for writing and supporting this great library.

Is there an article, blog post, website, DOI, or documentation site that you would prefer as the formal academic citation for this library?

This is a great idea @jpfairbanks. Perhaps in the future but as of now there is no formal citation :)

Ok I put a link to the github repo in a footnote. Which satisfies my requirements of giving credit where it is due. I'd of course like to use a formal citation if that helps the project in any way.

https://zenodo.org/account/settings/github/ is a good option for getting a DOI from a repo.
