email configuration settings get in the way #5

Why are the authentication options for email required? I have a MTA running on 127.0.0.1:25, no authentication is needed. Is this some sort of scheme to get me to buy sendgrid?

Hi, it was an oversight that's lived on since initial implementation. Thanks for pointing it out. You're welcome not to use Sendgrid (I no longer do, and never paid them for it anyway).

I'd welcome you to submit a patch but the state of master is a bit of a mess; I'll sort it at some point.
