The notable font with wide bold characters is Lucida Console, the programmer's font that comes with recent versions of Windows.

Sorry, can't do. The people who contributed those parsers apparently thought bold looked good, I'm not going to run amok on their work for no good reason. It is trivial for users to adjust the css to their taste.
