World distance measurement didn't have any physical meaning. Now everything is expressed in meters.
Once considered using centimeter as unit distance, but external 3D models normally assumes meter and standard photometric light units also involve meter, not centimeter.

Download RiggedFigure and DamagedHelmet assets from KhronosGroup's glTF repo, via Setup.ps1.
Add RiggedFigure model to Test_SkeletalAnimation project.
Add world_sponza to world rotation list of Test_DeferredRenderer project. (though it actually renders DamagedHelmet, not Sponza scene. Intel Sponza is way too big to include in download list)
Limit max FPS to 1000 by default to prevent deltaSeconds from being zero.
