LH_NowPlaying not displaying data when iTunes 10.5 is used #99

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install/upgrade to iTunes 10.5
2. Attempt to display song information using NowPlaying

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see song information, instead see nothing, as though no music is
playing. Conditional formatting (in my case a transparent black box set to
display when music is playing) will sporadically appear if music is playing in
iTunes, but no track information will display.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 64 bit, LCDHost alpha 20, NowPlaying 2.21 (r210)

Please provide any additional information below.
iTunes 10.4 broke media keys, and it was their fault. They're now fixed as of
10.5, but with the addition of some API changes that have in turn broken
NowPlaying.

VLC with Web Interdace turned on will display as the active media player in
LCDHost Screen on the G19s screen but it shows as [Stopped] when playing.
VLC Version 2.1.1
LCDHost version: 0.0.34

Although from Remote Control button in Plugins tab Under "Now Playing" play and
pause and close player buttons make VLC respond to commands.
