No problem, I'm not that smart.. I do programming on Arduino IDE for work and a product we used will drop off because of a company bought that company. I was thinking how to fake Fmovies to Plex.. Start up the old something and have no name spoken as Fmovies for you know who.. Sorry if you misunderstood.. I'm nearing retirement (I hope by 70) and maybe can learn that.

I still cant get plex to install on my computer so im using my dirty old laptop which is a bit hit and miss and the plugin isnt working properly but im getting by atm. Many many thanks to coder-alpha and others for the work you have put in to keep this plugin running it is much appreciated by me and many others....Thank you

So I'm bored, tired, still frustrated with Plex for removing the release thread. I just reported 4 release threads at the Plex forums for web site Terms Of Service violations NFL, Google Music, ABC and Disney Jr - Gave links to the TOS and copy/paste of exact text where each says, summarized, 'you can't scrape our content". ChuckPA messaged me on all 4 and said same "Thanks for letting us know. We’re looking into it." My belief is they won't be removed. Which will frustrate me even more.

EDIT - I believe my next step would be to send nods, electronically (I'm not so bored or tired as to use paper) to the legal department contacts of each company stating Plex forums are allowing for discussion of TOS mis-use.

@JamminR Yeah those things crossed my mind too but in the end I don't think it helps anyone. I mean I do still believe that in the end the User should be left with those choices. I mean if FMP provides someone the same tool that MakeMKV does by converting their Bluray disk into an Mp4 format file that they can put in Plex then no one has the legal right to stop them.

I was almost tempted to post this youtube video on the Plex forum and ask Plex which side of the fence they stand ?

I must say that Plex has chosen a slippery path... Their new censoring attitude could, maybe, bring appreciation from investors who hypocritically shrink from apps that THEY do not see as totally "legit", but will cost them a lot of users, which will not be very appreciated by the same investors... I, for one, lost almost all interest in their forum and I'm even looking around to find alternatives to Plex itself...

@Oldpapa Well to be honest the life-time Plex Pass even though is a good deal but has not benefited me much. I guess I'm contradicting myself here in hope that it will one day ;)

• The access to early developmental versions is more a headache if you install. I typically now wait and check even the stable release forum posts before making an upgrade.
• They have tried to build and support too many client too soon and the new Android App now sucks (my personal feeling). The Plugin menu doesn't show up at times, it changes to my NAS PMS server instead of my PC server automatically, blah blah blah..
• And what I thought would be good to have as a Plugin developer but that was not the case. Since the time I joined, I guess 5+ years I have not seen any bug fix or new features for Channels and my request for Subtitles support still lingers.

Well enough of the rant.. I'll probably post a new Dev version either tonite or tomorrow for extending the Downloads feature. I suggest to install it once your previous Downloads are finished since it may not be backward compatible with your existing list.

Anyone else having issue entering the Plug-in today? I've not used it in a week or two. I upgraded to PMS 1.13.5.5291 Friday, 2 days ago. I attempt to go in today, and it times out 3/4 times, using web, or IOS. I've restarted PMS. Haven't tried restarting the actual OS yet.

Sorry, I did not not get back on this too.. On Roku 3 it seems to be sluggish.. I have an Android TV box with PLEX and it works much better on that than the Roku.. I prefer the Android box over the roku..

Havn't been getting a lot of time to really test out the new /dev branch for it to be posted to /master.

Just to elaborate on the new Auto-Pilot feature. The feature allows downloading based on prefs you define when setting it up and that allows downloading full season of shows. So you do have to define it wisely. Settings to download a show with 1080p quality or size greater than 2GB will result in no downloads since almost all shows are of lower quality/filesize. Also, since this allows only download BRRIP quality one can essentially set it up for an upcoming movie and then everyday at the default time (defined under the Settings) a scheduler looks for an appropriate match and you can expected unexpected treats show up in your Plex movie library wink wink *

Edit: And it uses the Download Sources module and not the direct OpenLoad/Streamango server links.

Hope that explains a lil of that feature.

Note: It seems Mega has changed something and the downloader always gives an error and so recommend disabling it if you've been using it.

Same for me as bellpark17, using roku, firestick and win10, no sources on any of them, external or otherwise, tried fresh install of fmp, restarting all, no luck

@bellpark17 from the main page, If you go to external listings, go to type and change it to whatever you are looking for, say shows, then go to shows>updated>all>descending , you can get some items on the external sources, when you find what you want, it is slow to load so give it some time....

Heads up on the Auto-Pilot... It works so far..Another guy at work gave a try and tested at noon our time.. It did exactly what it was suppose to do.. If selecting TVShows, maybe create a folder (if it possible) by the first part of the header .. Like if Life in Pieces, do something Life in pieces and if James Hunter Mysteries, like that too.. But I do not know if it is possible. right now all tvshows show up in the folder. That was his request. But it is working

@Oldpapa actually all downloads now get their own folder.. movies will have Title (Year) format while TvShows will have their Title as folder name. Is that not the case ?

Hi there - newbie here! OK...first i was getting similar issues as above...when i try to watch something is "other seasons",people search...etc. So, i updated Plex and i installed the newest FMovies version. Now all i am getting is "unable to connect to content server". Help!

@sandi919 can you try with Plex-web client ? I get that same error using my SamsungTv and the Streamango server. I think it has something to do with the https capabilities of the TV, not a 100% sure but using Plex-web should confirm if its the same issue or something else. And if it is not the TV then do try a clean install first.

Ok...so...here's the deal...i really haven't been able to, nor do i watch on the web client. :) i don't know why. I am looking at Animal Kingdom Season 3...i am able to pull up the episodes. then i see Openload, RapidVideo, Streamango, External Sources, Download Sources. When i click on any of them, nothing happens. it's been like that for a looooooong time...i just never bothered to pursue because i was content knowing i could watch on my TV

So what is the best way to do a clean install. I was using WebTools however it doesn't appear to be working now. Should i just go to the plugins folder and delete Fmovies. Then download another copy from here and copy over to the plugins folder?

So none of the movies on the FMoviesPlus work, just out of curiosity does the API key not work anymore? And the G2G app is horrendous. If you're still working on that you have a long way to go. Every link goes to the same section at least for me it does. Nothing is different. Very lacking in the code structure as well.

@sandi919 - skip using webtools and just rename/delete the old folder and dump the new folder there. You may need to reconfigure things when you do it, I'm not sure. My settings are always retained but I always just put a new folder in the app folder.

@Chris - he probably needs more info as to your config. It's working for a number of us.

@sandi919 For a clean install, I suggest shutting down PMS (otherwise some files can be locked and wont get overwritten), delete the FMoviesPlus bundle, download a new copy of the bundle and install that.

@chrisbaldwinj What do you mean by the API key and also can you elaborate when you say none of the movies work ? Everything seems to be working on my end as of now. I only maintain the G2G channel in order to keep it running. I have no plans to do any development on that channel. All the sections in G2G produce the same listing because the site got rid of it, nothing the code structure can do about.

@coder-alpha the External Sources Search API Key the only option I've changed is No Extra Info. for Nav. Pages (Speeds Up Navigation) to selected. And every time I try to watch a movie it says An error occurred trying to play "(v) Pairing required movie - OpenLoad - CAM".

@chrisbaldwinj the External Sources Search API Key default is UTBFeU1ERTM= and should not be changed, otherwise you might have issues with the External Sources.

Well I guess this is not addressed clearly but the message Pairing required means that you need to follow the steps detailed in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdvdEO8uFWA (also listed under the Help menu of the plugin) The pairing is an authentication based on your IP address and is valid for 4 hours and 4 videos (I think). Please note your IP is logged whenever you watch any video so this step does not compromise your privacy any further. Ofcourse some people are deterred when they see their IP on the screen so its entirely up to you. Or You can setup PhantomJS and not deal with the Pairing required message. Instructions for PhantomJS are in the Wiki. You might want to put the binary file in your C drive where it has the permissions and then define that path under the settings. That way it wont get deleted once you update the plugin.

I like the autopilot feature. Will Autopilot get the next episode for me when a new season starts? Or, Any plans to increase it's intelligence? (Or, will it do what I explain below already?) Previously, I used SSPlex's "favorite" feature - it somehow grouped all seasons into one Favorite - when I'd go look at a favorite, it knew when a new episode would be added, EVEN if a new season. Right now, when adding things in FMP bookmarks, it's almost always separated by season. Listed as "Show S#" I have to go into the show, click "other seasons".
