Point at a place where donors to this could be sent (PSF umbrella org?) note money goes to grant applicants

Start a PSF mentorship sub-committee (thought we had one, but it looks like we do not), and have them manage teh grants?

There is a major complication with this. The mentorship effort is not just Python, and there might be PSF pushback for taking donations and issuing grants for non-python related mentorship.

It is still early, and there are other umbrella organizations than the PSF which might be a better fit. Time will tell.
