As an API, I need to be secured by OAuth2 token authentication and permissions so that personal data is not publicly available

[ ] when a client accesses the profiles end point, it checks for presence of auth token
[ ] if no token present, sends 403
[ ] if token, and no permissons sends 403
[ ] if token, and permissions, send 200 and data

Seems this can be done inside the app script interface, but I can't change the option for access @rngadam
