Put number of past participants on the web #143

Closed bast closed 5 years ago

bast commented 5 years ago

Past Aalto workshop had 35 participants.

wikfeldt commented 5 years ago

i'm thinking how to do this. On the workshops page, in parenthesis after each completed workshop? Or somewhere else? I don't see an immediately obvious place to put it

bast commented 5 years ago

Somewhere on the overview page a sum of workshops and sum of participants.

Then in the sources we should keep track up to which workshop we have summed up so that we can update it in future.

which of these is better? one is more cluttered but shows more interesting scientific disciplines. difficult tradeoff...

scientific-discipline-2 scientific-discipline-1

bast commented 5 years ago

I think they are not too cluttered - I would only shorten the long "engineering" line. Thank you for preparing these!

wikfeldt commented 5 years ago

maybe it's even better to merge all the engineering disciplines, i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Information, Civil, Chemical, Materials Engineering, Other Engineering and Technologies, and in the same vein merge all medicine and health sciences. Like here: scientific-discipline
