Fix errors #152

I fixed some errors I got when running the command.

Thank you for your help. I'm aware of both of these issues and I have these fixes and additional tests in the more-tests branch. I'm running a few final tests of the import script on my local machine, but once that's done I'll merge that branch into master and cut another release on PyPI.
