There are 3 behaviours which seem to contradict.

The test admin does not appear in users, coach or manager although they have all 3 permissions.
Newly created users do not appear in any find requests
Other users act as they should when permissions are changed
Mongo compass is a piece of trash and displays neither testadmin or new users.

I am the big stupid. Pagination was to blame for all my bugs.
