What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Quitting normally and relaunching.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like Transcriptions to preserve all my settings (e.g., window placement
and size, column size
and arrangement) after quitting. Unfortunately, it doesn't. The window must be
re-expanded, and the
columns -- for example, I like to expand the text column so that it takes up
90% of the screen and
expand the text text substitutions to hide the video block -- must all be
dragged back into place. (See
attached screenshot for an idea.)
A bonus would be to have Transcriptions automatically load the last AV clip
used. As it stands now, I
have to reopen the document and then reopen the clip separately, which often
means hunting through
folders and files to relocate it. Perhaps there's a way to link a text document
with a specific AV file, or
a shortcut section with recently opened files?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v .81; OS X 10.5.5 with all updates.
Please provide any additional information below.
No additional info, just a word of thanks for offering this app. It's made
transcribing, something I
absolutely dread, much easier.
