I have a North American PS Vita purchased about 1 month ago and fully patched. I'm using the macOS no ffmpeg (0.4.1) version of QCMA. (I tried installing the Sierra version but it complained about a missing library.)
I am able to wirelessly connect my Vita to QCMA running on my Mac. Fantastic! I'm also able to start a screenshot export (copy to Mac). But, when I select multiple screenshots and try to export, it warns that the file already exists and offers to skip exporting or continue. Regardless of which option I choose, I end up with only one screenshot on my Mac.
If it matters any, the screenshots came from Shiren The Wanderer. On the PS Vita, the screenshots all appear to have the same filename "Shiren The Wanderer" -- or at least that's the only identifier given in the UI. I notice that screenshots of other apps have names like a date/time stamp, and for these apps, I believe I can export in bulk without an issue.
I can work around the problem by pausing at the PS Vita "continue or skip" screen, then on my Mac renaming the file, then continuing the PS Vita for one more file, renaming on Mac, etc.. Needless to say this doesn't scale for the hundreds of screenshots that I'd like to be able to export.
Comparing notes with other QCMA users online, it seems that other users (on Linux) do not have this problem. They still see all the screenshots as "Shiren The Wanderer" on the PS Vita, but when they export, they all have unique date/timestamp filenames on Linux.
I looked for a QCMA and PS Vita setting to change how screenshot filenames are handled but couldn't find anything.
Is this by chance fixed in the yes-ffmpeg version for macOS, and if so, is there an article somewhere about how to fix the missing library problem with that version of QCMA?
