Currently, listing seeds from Pyrotech (freckleberries, for example) on the fertility config for Serene Seasons will not prevent these crops/berries from growing at all.
This makes them really op in any configured pack that makes use of seasons, and unable to be repurposed either (my case in point is making freckleberries an ice-themed winter berry).
