Make the blog more visible

Ideas:

• replace Forum in the left menu with Blog ( I don't know how that would work in a mobile version of the page - I don't use that )
• if there's a new post, send notifications like for new translations ( and ranks? - it's been a while )
• or, if you don't want to do that, just in the top right corner thingy

My idea was to make the feed bigger, and potentially replace allies board with the carousel of recent blog posts or the listing. It would make the main page a bit more portal-ish.

But I love the idea with notifications in top right corner, and placing an entry in the left bar.

I almost never see the main page. My bookmark is for the list of kata, with appropriate filters.

Is there any particular icon set to pick from?

Don't mind me, really, i am really glad it's there and just this fact itself outweights everything else.

If I were to suggest anything, I was thinking about some parchment, scroll, or newspaper, no idea if they would fit though. The current one is IMO visually somewhat unbalanced.

I usually pick from https://heroicons.dev/ or https://tabler-icons.io/.

(Codewars still uses icon fonts from the past, but it's painful to style because they're not scaled consistently, and it's not square :man_facepalming: So, I've been just using tiny SVGs for new code.)

From presented sets, nice icons are book, chat, message, float-right, license.

I was also considering something like 'talking head', there are some examples on the Web, but I am not sure if they would look good here.
