Can't see own hidden comment (comment with spoiler tag) #1534

While logged in, I can't view a comment that I made in the Discourse section of a kata. I tagged it as a spoiler when I originally made the comment. When I click on the edit button for the comment, I get a blank textarea. I also refreshed the page a couple times to make sure I wasn't inadvertently logged out by the system.

Happened to me a few times, and always went away after some time.

I found the reason why this happens.

On the Discourse page of the kata, if the selected language is not the language that the user completed the kata in, then the spoiler tag will conceal the comment.

If the user then changes the selected language to the one that they completed the kata in, then the flagged comments reappear.

This happened to me, although I did not complete the kata. I cannot view or edit that comment. I tried switching to language I originally was trying to complete kata with while writing comment, but still cannot access the comment.

I'm also experiencing this - I was able to see / edit my comment just fine on https://www.codewars.com/kata/5c8531a820089d04385a7faa/discuss#5f50006670692e00287586c0 until I refreshed and now I can't do anything with it.

Hey there, I experienced the same issue. The solution offered by Docgunthrop don't work as I can't access the discourse page if I did not completed the kata.
