The article mentions that:

Note: Styling exit animations require the ability to animate display: none, and animating a ::backdrop pseudo element requires the overlay property. Neither of these features are Baseline features yet. This post will therefore focus only on entry animations.

So in our case, it is not a big interest, so let's skip it for now.
