Now that we have Firetext for Firefox, lets build on firetext on Ubuntu phone OS as it too is coming soon and is build on html + js. So it won't be a lot hard to do so, but as a result Firetext will gain double fame. So it is vital that we develop this in ubuntu phone os as it too is at early stages. So what do you think? Here have a look at its HTML5 support: http://developer.ubuntu.com/get-started/gomobile/

Sounds great, I don't have a way to test it though. Also, we should do that in a separate branch so that we can customize the interface to fit ubuntu's ui without messing up the firefox version.

Use QtCreator for IDE and an emulator is currently in development or you can use nexus device and install developer preview

I think that a version for desktop firefox is more crucial!

But people already have desktop word processors (like Word, OpenOffice, LibreOffice, etc.)

still... wouldn’t it make sense to b able to update your files from both your phone and your computer? (plus, it’s a LOT easier to type on a keyboard than on a touch screen )
