Issue with max depth of the navigation bar #140

It appears that the current set up for the website results in the max depth of the left hand side navigation menu being limited to 4.

A potential solution is to split the self study into its own heading reducing the overall depth of the section by 1, which will then be within the 4 limit.

A stopgap solution of pulling out the self study notes into their own section has been implemented in #141

However the structure of the website does appear to be better with this structure and so it might be worth keeping.
