@pjcevans Sorry for taking so long to look at this pr. You have followed the quick start guide which is exactly what I did too to get started, but what the guide builds for you is a boilerplate.
Starting from a template (although it is a lot smaller than the first iteration) is exactly what we are trying to avoid with this second iteration. Also, the boilerplate sets up the project with a lot of things which we won't need.
Why not try following this to set up a much simpler starting point then we can build out from it instead of having code which we didn't write and may not understand.
